When you’re on the move, it’s easy to grab fast food, but what you eat has a direct impact on your mental performance. High-carb foods introduce glucose quickly and cause you to crash early. High-fat foods make your gut work overtime and wipe out your energy. Start planning your meals ahead of time, or keep easy, healthy snacks with you at the very least. Exercise is a great stress reliever. Getting exercise doesn’t have to mean spending hours at the gym every day. Taking a couple of 10-minute breaks to go for a walk or a quick jog will get your blood pumping.
